Try to match the "overall diameter" as closely as possible to stock, and avoid an expensive trip to the alignment shop for camber adjustments. Otherwise you'll end up with a contact patch the size of a gerbles' nuts, and your new" wide meats" will be blowing in the wind anyway. The sizes you quoted differ in O/S diameter by 14.75mm.......this could effect your lowering posibilities aswell. If you go wider......you will usually want to drop your aspect ratio to compensate. It maintains your final drive ratio aswell, otherwise you lose acceleration, have a f'ked-up speedometer and it stresses the drivetrain (clutch in particular) more than intended. Just do some math and save yourself some headaches. aspect ratio (40,45 series etc) is a precise % of the tires sidewall height vs. its width . ie: 205/45/17 (stock SS?) 45% of 205mm which equals 92.25mm sidewall height. Add this to 17 inch wheels (432mm) and you have an overall diameter of 524.25mm. This is the number you're shooting for regardless of the wheel/tire combinations you put together. Good luck.
