Who is going to be pissed if............

Just wondering how many people out there are going to be pissed if a 09 turbo balt does come out? I just bought my 07 and had I known that a turbo balt would come out in 09 I would have held off and got a 09. I know nothing is 100% yet but this is just a "What if" question.

I don't mind if 09 is TC'ed. I really hope it is TC'ed because that is a better option than for the Cobalt to not have an SS version.

I think that the car is FOR SURE going to be turboed. Speculation aside think about it. All the turboed 4's coming from GM lately such as the Sky Redline, Solstice GXP, the 2008 HHR SS, and rumored '09 Cobalt all have the 260hp 2.0L Ecotec. Gm is coming out with stage kits soon for this engine with stage 1 I'm hearing being a 50hp increase taking it to 310hp! I'm thrilled the Cobalt will get this too, however I'm getting rid of my 05 SS/SC and getting the new Camaro convertible.

^^ i would too, if i hadnt just bought a new car. i like it, and it'll be in the high 12s by the end of the summer (assuming the hahn kit come out by then)
a turbo balt would be the ****, and finally, stock ss balts would be respected as srt-4s and evos are
anyone think there will be a body style change when /if a turbo balt is released?

I would be. They she keep the LSJ engine and the ss sueprcharged. turbos are so overused (though more efficient, mroe pwoerful, blah blah, etc). Lets get some variety. GM had somethign unique going.

I imagine, 09 should be time for an update, but it doesn't matter to me. I way prefer a belt driven supercharger over a laggy (even variable geometry still have some lag) turbo.
That and when the tc blows off, it sounds like a sneeze to me. Ya, thats real manly. *shift. sneeze.* "Was that you? Or the car?"

I'll be happy to purchase my 09/10 Camaro SS convertible then anyway!

I dont think I will be pissed if one comes out, I just will feel like I need a new car. Chances are that my balt will be paid off by the time a turbo balt comes out so I should be able to get one if I want.
