Doesn't matter how high you are, if the snows deep enough, the rear trailing arm will still plow it and could cause drag, had good winter tires last year on air ride, and couple days last year didn't matter if I was aired up 2"over stock height or dropped low, still got stuck everywhere I went those couple days

your effective ground clearence has more to do with overall wheel size. now if you could find a way to stuff some 40" mudders in there that get you a solid 18" of clearance lol
