The motor is a turbo charged 2.0 liter based off of the 1000 horsepower build in the GM "build book" found on www.GMTUNERSOURCE.com. First off, this is old news. Do a search. Second off, he bought a base 2.2 cobalt. He destroked it to a 2.0 liter. So call it whatever you want its 2 liters of displacement in the 2.2 liter block.
