is this 2.5" piping? i mightve missed it somewhere anyway....im thinking maybe 375 to 400 would be ok if we can manage to have this to include the t-clamps and shipping, i mean it is supposed to be gb pricing. i dont mind waiting longer to have it powdercoated red. possibly interested in the intercooler combo mentioned above too.

Alright...maybe $300 is a bit low...but you definitely need to beat Synapse's GB price of $400...even that price scared away a lot of buyers....they barely got to 10 people...

You put this thing at $325 or $350 plus shipping and people will be all over it...

It simply reduces spool time and response by putting less 'give' in the system. Think of conventional brake lines vs SS braided lines. Less expansion in the line, therefore quicker response.
Lol! Yea, I wasn't expecting 30whp, & 50trq. Haha. But thanks for clearing that up for me!

Black in color would be hotness. I have no opinion on price at this time.

To keep the trend going with my car (only true mod is Hahn 3" Cat Back, and he won me over with that product.. I LOVE IT!) I would be willing to go for $400 or under for a set matching Victory Red and t-bolt clamps. Or would take a good look at a combo pack with the intercooler if you did one.

Just to confirm, this charge piping without a tune won't hurt anything right? I'm just a little concerned as with others adding custom intakes and have CEL codes drop in a week later.

Pipe diameter and shape shouldn't affect the MAP2 sensor... so no, you shouldn't need a tune.

It is my understanding that if you got this charge piping, you would just be replacing ugly, weak plastic with nice, strong metal tubing...that is what I'm hoping anyway...

Here is a question, what is the size of this compared to Synapse's intercooler kit? They have pic's up and that thing is just huge. THanks

for a stock car, you wouldnt, but lets face it....there are 350whp blown cobalts...that means with due time there will be 500whp turboed balts, and i just want to know if the people going for turbo swaps have the available option of larger piping.

Frankly, at stock power levels, the gain is small...several HP.

The stock piping, while rather ugly, is actually well up to the task of supporting the stock power level. Power gains realized from a piping upgrade like this will increase as you continue to upgrade the car, since the more airflow you try to put through it, the more restrictive the stock piping becomes.

Yes, 2.5". Ideal for 300-600 HP. Optimally sized, not oversized.

No sir. This won't affect airflow reporting at all, unlike intakes that house the MAF and can affect its airflow characteristics. The altered airflow signature is what throws the codes.

I'd like to address intercooler questions in our other threads, just for clarity , and keep this one on the Piping Kit. Thanks

i have the clamps pictured above and they hold my 22psi all day... t-bolts are nice but you have to remember they are quite expensive!

Later this year. It will incorporate our Billet BOV like we use on the Solstice and Sky kits. It will be compatible with this piping kit.

For comparison, this piping kit can support up to 600 HP easily.

so maybe 375 shipped with t-clamps with 15 ppl? i guess we'd need to know what can be done with colors....maybe 3 to 5 weeks? im personally thinkin about the combo now.

maybe 650 to 675 for a combo of the above with the i/c with the hahn logo on it. same # of ppl and time frame?

I like the $650 for it all too...but NO logo. I don't want to advertise what I have to EVERYONE... just people that need or deserve to know. I have no problem telling people what I have and pushing a product for a company if I'm happy with it but to visually display on the exterior on my car and tell everyone to include the po-po that I'm pushin aftermarket HP mods...I don't like it.

i agree!!! we should make a pole. and majority wins. im in aggreeance 375 shipped. and 675 shipped for the combo with 15 or more peopl. this is an awesome deal that many people will jump on.

375 for the charge piping
or 675 for the combo.
its affordable. and will probably get more business for it in my opinion. yer more likely to make more money on somethin that costs less than more. if that makes sense..
