e-brake retrofit continued/done!

so here is the thred that started it all
Interior E brake Retrofit.... progress being made! - Cobalt SS Network

well the boot came today so here we go

this is what we left off with..

So i took my new boot and slid it over the ebrake and figured out how far down i wanted to set the boot...

io set the counsel back on to make sure how i wanted it will fit.... also lift the lever up and down to make sure you have enough give in the boot....

next cut off part of the boot that you know you wont use....

then you glue the boot to the underside of the counsel(i used hot glue) start with the front and back, then glue the sides down...

after you glue all of the sides down cut off any excess boot... it also helps to slit the boot at the edges to glue it down evenly

put the counsel back on, tie the boot onto the handle and your done

i then cut off the extra string, all i have next is that damned end cap but i have to do that when im more awake
