im sorry im not hateing on you im just trying to correct your term of skyline. your set up is more like a corvette. like shown in this thread.

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/appearance-48/inner-tail-light-mod-corvette-style-83028/

as opposed to a Nissan Skyline's taillight set up. like mine is. on the R-34 skyline the turnsignal is located in the center of the middle lenses. that also have the out side ring lit in red for park lamps. and i can get prof of this to. because nissan skyline R-34 is my dream car i know all about them.

Nice work Jefferyss. I want to do the same thing. Just a little advise for people who are gong to attempt this and for jeffery in case you want to do your tail lights, put the tail lights in the oven to take them apart. It works just like it does for the headlights when people want to paint them. Just set it on the lowest temperature and take them out every 5 - 10 minutes or so to pry them apart. It will work cause that is what I did with my tail lights when I retrofitted them. Again you did a really nice job with these!

does it really matter that much? his taillights are different than yours he's just calling them the same thing. who cares whether the idea came from a skyline, corvette, or even a ******' beetle, it looks good thats what matters.

I'm pretty sure us Canadians can buy them at Princess Auto for $10 each.
In the US, I'm not quite sure... you can build them out of lose LED's, but you'll have to solder each one...

oznium.com has a great selection of lights - its where i got mine for interior work. they also make ones that you can cut to length (within like 3 inches)

jefferyss - what is the length you used? i could take my tails apart to find out... but i'm just curious (and in the middle of the ocean and can't get to my balt).

I like em except for that empty void on the bottom. Can't you find any LED's that are the right size? i mean its an AWESOME idea that seems like it needs to be tweeked a little.
