sorry to revive this thread again but wouldnt baking them warp the lens? my friggin third brake light warp in the summer when i had smoked vinyl over it. isnt the lens not as strong as the headlights?

I Know When I Started To Use A Heat Gun On Them At First They Started To Warp The Edges A Bit. I Ended Up Using A Dremel ...found It Much Easier And Didnt Damage The Lense At All

when i did mine, the one socket did get a little warped, but it all fit back together

Think is safe to bake em ands keep checking every 7-10 minutes or so. So i can take it apart

Ok I got an extra set of tails so I'm thinkin of setting em up like the m45 tails. If it turns out like I'm planning Its gonna look bad ass

if you were a student and i was a teacher you would have gotten an A+...weird i know but yeah good job.

and everyone saying "OMGZOTS! I DID IT FIRST COPIER!!!" please shhh he shared so we all could do it so he gets the credit if you did do it then good job but dont be hatin'

So what color LEDs did you use? I used white ones and now the also light up the inside clear part and it looks like i have my reverse lights on. any help would be great.

Maybe you put themto much up front. Lay them back as much as you can. And also pics would help of the LEDs without the red cover on

I never knew the inside of the tails were that slanted. I've seen other people do it and it doesn't look like that

yeah i know i didnt know it was slanted. I think i solved the problem. I just went to my work and found some black gaskets that were the same size as the inner reverse light part and im gonna see if that will block the light from getting into the clear part. We will see
