Drivetrain: How to Install Axles and CAB's (56k time to upgrade)
Lawls
If you are looking, I have come up with a much better solution to the poly CAB issue. I have the prototypes in my car right now, and since I seem to be having good results with no issues, i'm thinking of releasing a few sets to other people as needed. They are a little more money, but they work better, will last longer, and are servicable, meaning you don't have to replace the whole ******* thing when it does eventually wear out.
PM me for more info.

I am interested in hearing more about your set-up, hit me up with a PM or reply here please
I'm on my 2nd set, but I thinkl I replaced my first set due to the scares everyone else was experiencing, both of my sets look to be holding up fine with only minimal gap at the inner sleeve

Joe, when you get a chance...
Thanks for the PM Joe. They look great! Definitely interested in production information. I could potentially work this into my winter project...

Just get the old axle clamped in a solid vice and get a good grip on the intermediate shaft and pull like hell
I had a hard time separating mine too. But those snap rings have nothing to do with holding them together. I found this out after spending hours trying to get them off.

I've had them so rusted together that you almost have to destroy them to get them apart. Best bet is to take a hammer to it and try to beat the axle out of the intermediate shaft. Put some grease on the splines when you re-install so you don't have that issue in the future, they are dry as a bone from the factory.
I have been beating the **** out of it for 2 hours. It just wont budge. I'm thinking of tieing a chain to the bracket on the shaft and another chain on the axle and tieing both ends to separate cars and driving off
I don't think I have the driver side axle in right. When I started refilling the tranny with fluid it started to leak out from under the axle. There's a gap between the tranny and where the end of the axle steps up in diameter. Is tye step up in diameter suppose to be flush against the tranny?????
