no rush man, they quit making this product awhile back, so i couldn't see their being a newer version, now i get what you mean by not in motion test makes since but i don't think i remember being able to feel anything in stage I... i'll check it today on my way to work.

approximately how many seconds in 0ff before you notice the change?

hey man, all I know is I can shift it up and down if I want... granted it take a minute or two to "downshift" from I or II, but, it will without me turning the car off.... I directly connected the wires, as in, stripping the old wires, tying the shift+ wires onto their respective colored wires, and re connecting, taping the living **** out of it and went to town testing it out

i tested on my way to work... stage I it seems as though you can switch between off and on... stage II however does not work this way...

i'll test the stage I further to make sure, but so far it appears as though i was wrong on stage II, but i'd say most people here either are off or stage II. i'll mess around with it some more tomorrow and double check to make sure i wasn't just wanting it to happen so bad that i felt it happen lol.

we'll see. stage II is a definate no go tho.

okay the tilt on the steering wheel pull it down push the steering wheel all the way up. place the box between the steering column and the plastic lower dash that goes around it. push the steering wheel all the way down ontop of it as hard as you can to wedge it in there then push you tilt level back up to keep it there.

oh btw did my test again and i do believe your right.. stage I to off works... i guess i never really messed with stage I at all, but i just assumed it would be like stage II. anyways i do wish other people would try it and see if it works for everyone then we will know most certian that i'm just not insane nor anyone else that this actually works for.

no sounds like your b&m is faulty i'd return it and get a new one see if that works... now when you disconnected it did it still shift like it was in stage II or was it back to normal?

the taps are fine sometimes you have to take wire strippers and at least break through the plastic coating or it wont make a good connection.

I have an 07 and it took me like 20 minutes to put in and wasn't that hard to get to. I also did outside in temperatures below zero.

well no complaints and never said it was hard took me about 30 mins also, just it looks easer to get in his photos, my wire loom ran to the left and under the coolant hose, and I just had to hold it and wire at the same time, but it wasnt bad, and at first the taps were not getting a good connect, so I had the guys who work beside me soilder it up. Works fine and hits hard in stage 2.

Yea, its a little different but i was to pull the wire loom up above my coolant hose and work on it, so it was a little easier.
