They can be turned up while the car is on, but not back down

I was toying with the idea of adding a second B&M to essentially have four settings

not the best idea way to much line pressure IF it were to actually work

"Stage 4" would only be used at the track

"Stage 3" would be for fun

"Stage 2" would be for daily driving

If it were to work anyway

well it works off of different resistor values if im not mistaken so you could in theory make 2 more stages im just not sure how the tranny would take such an increase in pressure without some work done to it.

I should take it bacause your just tricking the computer in thinking the tranny is slipping, And the computer will not go over a certain line pressure with out having a cel. So If you dont have a cel your safe.

I don't think that the tranny could even create enough line pressure to destroy itself stock anyway

The computer isnt really the limiting factor the amount of fluid that your tranny can flow is the limitation. You can trick the computer into thinking whatever you like but what it essentially boils down to is the tranny is only capable of handling so much pressure. In playing it safe tho if you were to get a CEL i would say turn it off tho.

What you have to worry about is the over heating factor. The stock tranny cooler is junk if you were to replace that with something more efficient you would lower your chances of breaking something.

I was under the impression that higher line pressure would reduce heat due to less friction during shifts

Okay, so i know at LEAST 10 people ordered this, and I found the perfect place to mount it!
I will also use this mounting place for my nitrous when it is installed this spring.

Okay, so what you want to do:

Step 1 Pull down the lever to adjust your steering wheel, push the wheel up as high as it will go.

Step 2Take the giant switch box, feed it up into the panel between the underside of the Steering wheel and the panel below it, there should be about a .5" gap

Step 3 Position the switch where you want it

Step 4 Lower the adjustment lever, and push down the steering wheel, push it down as far as it will go (about .1") then keep the pressure on it as you push the adjustment lever back up into the locked position

You now have an easily accessible, hidden, clean installation of the B&M switch!

Can you take pics of where it plugs into (transmission) and where you mounted it

Yea can you please take some pics for us and are the wires long enough to mount it next to the shifter?

Yea I was thinking that it might look cool right next to the shifter but if I don't put it there I will probably put it in the little compartment with the trunk release button.

Also did you run any before and after 1/4 mile times?

have u ever thought about a 2 door rear bumper? like off an ss/sc like the front. i know the lights are diffrent but like were are lights at the top end and were the body line is on those is the same. so if you found like the lights and wiring for them that would be hott. 4 door with the 2 door rear lights. just a crazy idea ive had b4 that i realy dont wanna try cuz i have a diffrent plan now.

I'd lose my reverse lights though, and the trunk lid would look wierd

but they would work
