You will love it if you get it. Trust me, I had mixed emotions about it. Once I installed it, a huge grin came on my face when I drove it the first time. Plus if you can hide it well, just like I did, then its sort of a sleeper mod that gives you a slight edge over other stock cars, and no one would ever know

Turns out i was looking at the wrong wires when i tried to put this in.

I found the right wires, hooked them up. i feel a much harder shift but my tires dont chirp. and it feels like the car is shifting at 10mph instead of 20mph. first gear is only lasting 10mph? maybe cause i dont have an exhaust mani or more mods that im not feeling that much of a kick when in stage two. havent tried stage one yet.

any possible problems i might have? or could it be my car is a lil bit heavier cause of the package i got with my car. power windows, speaker system etc.

thanks

I just got mine but from looking at all the post in help of instaling mine cause i was D D D, no, noone has any problems with theirs. it does feel like there might over time be a problem with the tranny cause the hard shifts, but from what i read, its actually better for harder shifts. less resistence on the tranny.

Under the dash, right? Use some man muscles...and maybe a flat head it get it started, but be careful with a flat head.

I'll also warn you that it'll never go back in perfectly.

Shitty = Wire taps.
Quick = Quick connects/butt splice.
Professional/Secure = Solder!!!

I was wanting you to stay away from them but you just choose the wire you wanna tap into, basically bite over the wire and clamp it, then get the quick connector and crimp it to the new wire and connect the two, pretty straight forward.

By looking at the pics you can see how it works, but eventually it will break the wire completely, no matter what everyone says on here this is the worst method you can use. Solder is always the best way. Or if you can't or don't know how to solder user quick connectors.

Here's the quick connectors.

Showing the female end.

Tape Red wire of shift plus with orange and black of the shift plus with the Blue

nice place for the switch. I havent seen that done before. But why not go all out and mount it in the center console? That would be bad ass.

X2, I as thinking of that spot but moving the seat up to clean the back the seat would hit the switch. And I like the red trim on the cup holder. Looks good.

I'll probably take mine to a body shop or something. Don't have the time to do it myself.
