I'm having problems with this. I have an 08 and there are no red, orange, or blue wires in this harness. Can someone help me out with an 08 please?

Umm...are you in the correct wire bundle? Should be the colors stated.

Here's what I got. There's a smaller harness coming from the transmission with a bunch of wires - nothing that resembles the said colors in the OP. I follow it to a junction - and open up a slightly bigger harness on the other side of the junction and find red wire/white stripe, a bunch of others, and 2 light blue - one thin, one pretty big going toward the fuse box area. They totally changed things around from 05 to 08, and my harnesses and where the plug comes from isn't anywhere close.

smaller harness/wires

larger harness/wires

all of the wire junctions

another shot of the larger harness where the "red/orange" and "light blue" wires were spotted.

Well from looking at your pics you need to go down about another foot, it's almost right under the fuse box.

No, it's further down than that. Just to the left of the fuse block look down about a foot, you will see the plug in going into the transmission. I would get a pic but it's dark here.

See where he has the quick taps on? Well look at the end of it, it's about a foot down.

On mine there's nothing there. I think the plug's toward the back - which basically leads me to a few posts ago - how the wires in the harness aren't the same color as the ones supposed to be there. But I'll get a better look tomorrow afternoon and report back

Finally got it in tonight. First 2 attempts were no go - wires didnt connect enough. Stripped enough wire cover off then used temporary alligator clips - Stage 2 is a KICKER. Screeching the tires is a part of havin stage 2 . Awesome stuff for sure

I just installed mine. Im on the same harness as the pic shows. the light blue wire with the white stripe was there, so i connected black to that. and there was NO RED wires in there. There was orange which might resemble your 'red'. There was an orange with black stripe that was twisted, and there was a single orange with blk stripe that i connected the RED to. Stage 1, or 2 didnt seem to make any difference. I must have this screwed up. Any help?

EDIT: Oh nvm. Future Reference for anyone, the quick taps dont fully splice into the wire, and causes the shiftplus to not function. I ended up throwing them in the garbage and just cuttting the wires and twisting them together.

P.S. A MUST BUY FOR AUTOS!

well, installed this tonight along with sportlines and ark strut bar, car seems like a different beast in stage 2...

on stock tires

i was even able to break traction on dry pavement in stage 1... get a full rotation from first to second in stage 2. all i have is a custom intake.

one thing i did notice is that i couldn't actually hear the wheels chirp i just felt them break loose and this was with the windows down.

also, i was able to figure a way to get it out of any stage to the off position without coming to a stop, throw the car in neurtral turn the key off wait 5 seconds start it back up and put it back in drive and u'll be back to normal.

When in stage 2, when shifting from 1st to 2nd, even 2nd to 3rd, my car doesnt seem to make any attempt spin or chirp the tires. The shifting is rougher than stock but it doesnt appear to have enough jam. Even in the rain.

Offtopic - anyone know of any wiring i can do to remove the tcs. The ebrake thing doesnt work for me unless im doing a burnout, and yesterday the tcs always came on, except one time the car actually redlined like 5 times then shifted up....

just because you can't hear it doesn't mean it isn't happening... are u full throttle when you attempt this?

offtopic - i have an 08 cobalt ls and the ebrake thing doesn't work putting it in L doesn't work, the 08 models as far as i know have what is called all gear traction control, not sure we can disable it.
