I was thinking about getting one of these. Are people still happy with their shift plus or are they starting to wear out the trannies and fail? Also if i do get it where should i mount the swith in the little trunk release compartment (cut it and apply radio shack 3 way)??

No problems with mine, and I haven't heard of anyone blowing up transmissions because of the Shift+. I haven't used mine in about a month or so and just turned it on last night for the hell of it. And I have mine mounted on the panel to the right of your right knee with some double sided stick tape.

No, you have to use the box/switch it comes with, or you can peel off the silicon housing it comes in and maybe redo it but I really wouldn't recommend that. And what do you mean by 3-way switch?

this switch it has the poles to put it on, one for stage 1 other for stage 2 and the third for the ground. it pretty much is the same as the stock switch http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...rt&tab=summary

I know what the switch is, just didn't understand what you were trying to do. So your going to tear apart the stock switch and re-wire it to your own switch. Just don't cross up the wires.

Anywhere, it doesn't matter, just make sure it's the correct controller.

ohh alright, ill just order it through my supplier. and one more question, it says to hook the red wire of the controller into the red wire with a black stripe on the harness that isnt twisted with another wire. on my 05 ls there are no red wires in the harness, they are orange. im guessing that the orange wire is the one i am supposed to use? correct me if im wrong. thanks.

230lb/ft torque limit, good to know there is room for some improvement. I was considering boosting & tuning up my 2.4L Ion in lieu of buying the SS/TC, would certainly cost a bit less.

Ordered mine a few days ago and it came Saturday. Will put it on later tonight after I'm home from the John McCain rally.
