They sure are. I liked installing the springs on the bench much better.

Ur welcome buddy!!

It's not as detailed as the cam install "how to", but that's because the build book helps so much, and doesnt really miss anything.

Follow the book, my tips, and you should be good to go.

Meh, that's not bad either. Just need to ignore the build book for that part.

I think it would be easier to do with the end cap off. Last time I was doing it with the cap on so I would get it timed right then go to shove it in and be blind for an inch or so

I finished mine a while ago. I'm currently piecing my car back together, slowly. This weather is horrible if you don't have a heated garage.

I'm glad this will be of some help to you

I have videos of the car before all this work, but no current ones in you tube format.

I don't drive my car in the winter, so videos will have to wait until spring.

What stage comp cams did you use? & were the #75 valve springs the only ones for the ecotec to use?

S1 cams.

Nope, Supertech also offers 76# springs and 94# springs for the ecotec.

They used to offer 78# springs, but I havent seen them for sale in a while.

The 75# springs are more than enough for a high rpm build.
