Logged boost pressure the other day for the first time with the GMR head....

With the GMR ported head, I'm seeing a max of 14.3 psi.

Before the GMR head, I was seeing 15.1 psi with cams.

Before cams, I was making 15.8-16.2 psi.

All boost readings were recorded during an ambient temp of mid 40's.

This shows the GMR head removes a good amount of restriction.

Exhaust side help

Using this how to, I successfully took apart stock Camshafts, and reinstalled the new valve springs on the intake side. On the exhaust side though, everytime I take one turn to compress the stock valve springs air starts pumping from compressor through motor?

Sounds like you don't have a good seal, or your regulator on your compressor isn't set correctly.

Most people use the "Kent Moore" tool, but you can try an appliance tool if you want (damn spell check)

Sorry Snail, I sold the Kent moore tool after installing the GMR head.

You can grab them for under $100 on ebay.
