I agree about the price, but it's primarily because the gas pedal is the whole assembly, not just the cover. Since it's an electronic throttle, the new assembly has a wire harness plug, the entire arm, springs, etc. Would have made a lot more sense just to have a bolt/unbolt option for the pedal plate. I work at a Chevy dealer, and their cost was around $85-can't remember exactly, so getting them any cheaper than $100 would be really difficult.

I did this today and it is a BIATCH to get those stupid clutch and brake pedals on......get a ratcheting wrench for the gas pedal nothing else fits in that narrow space ...I have a 2010 SS TC unsure if the space is less but I could not fit anything up there other then the wrench.
