I ordered one, but just realized that they are on backorder until May 21.. ... I'll be tapping into my boost gague power wire as well, unless anyone wants to do a quick write up on tapping into the fuse block.

Just pick a vendor with the lowest price. Aeroforce has all of them on backorder, so it doesn't matter where you buy it from unless the vendor has them in stock.

what i did...
got the 2 pillar pod.
took the stock boost guage off..
cut the wire on the stock boost gauge..
got a regular 2 wire connector (that you crimp together) from autozone.
put both the interceptor power and the stock boost guage wire into one side of it, crimped that...
put the power wire that runs into ur car into the other side, crimped that.
hooked it up to t he ODB2 or whatever, port.
turned the car on for a test run before i put everything back and it worked fine.

it comes with a bung and you wont need it casue what you do is pull the rear o2 out and get rid of the codes with hp tuners and put the wideband there thats what i did on my ss if you got a lift it take about 20-25 min

Tape holds it in perfectly. You put enough tape arround so it fits snug in the hole. It wont budge once in place, and will only come out if you twist it out. Makes adjusting its angle super easy and problem free, and if you have to send it back for repair it pops right out. a 30 second tool free removeal and install.

ok im guessing the black wire is the ground wire? im asking because im hooking up my aem uego wideband and interceptor and spliceing the pink wire for power and i need to ground 1 wire on the aem and was wondering which one is the ground on the stock boost gauge. also how did you remove the clip harness that plugs into the black pieace of the boost gauge? i dont wanna cut any wires to remove the harness that stays connected to the car? thanks in advance

Just installed the gauge last night.
These things are awesome! I cut the pink power wire from the boost gauge connector. Stripped the wire and twisted the pink wires back together with the aeroforce power wire with it and electric taped it. It should hold up. Went to turn the car on and nothing happened from the gauge. Well crap I have to take the gauge pod back out and then all of a sudden it powered up! I forgot it takes 3 seconds to read the OBDII port before it lights up!

Love the gauge I have it recording manifold Psi (Since it sits where the boost gauge is and I still want to monitor boost) and IAT2 temps.

Great write up helped alot!

It's a little black receptacle about 1.5" wide on the bottom of the dash where your left shin bone would be.

So am I the only one who can't see the pics on the first post? I'm probably going to be getting my Interceptor in the next week or two and obviously pics would be pretty helpful haha
