Just installed my G5 earlier, liked it so much I installed it twice! Nah, installed it, then tinkered with the old one and realized the lens and bezel can be swapped with no effort and the acquired cluster had scratches on the lens and scratched chrome trim. Reinstalled again after the bezel/lens swap, that's another thing to remember in case anyone else runs into the same issue. Only thing I had to do with this otherwise was reprogram the TPMS, otherwise pNp. So yes, as long as it matches the year of your vehicle, everything works as original.

Yea, Can't wait til it gets dark to actually see what it looks like in action, covering with a blanket and turning the key isn't justice...

As long as the cluster you acquire came out of a Cobalt/G5 of the same year as yours, yes it will work. If you are unsure of the donor's year, you could always try it. From what I'm seeing the only thing you may lose is the DIC, which is why the year is important. Mileage is stored in the computer, so that is not an issue and everything else will be legit.
