1. add some bass
2. look clean
3. maintain as much of the trunk as i could
4. not move around when i beat up on the car
so you think this would be a good purchase? cuz i do love the pioneer box that came with the car. But i do looooove bass lol

its worth it... esp. once you add a aftermarket head unit. just hve to mod the box

i just finished mine up....picked up a MTX reQ which processes the factory signal and cleans it up to add a sub.

i removed the pioneer stock sub and hooked up some bazooka i picked up for 35 bucks. had to dremel out the box a lil bit on the inside depth and the width and drill new screw holes...

added a jbl 300.1 amp...and tuned it...

bumps for a shitty ten in a tiny box...and sounds good too with the stock hu...

feel free to contact me with questions...took alot of experimenting...shudda did a how to on it but i hate taking pictures while im working...

how well do those boxes work? i've seem them before, but never got to actually play with one.

pretty well i havent played around with it too much...it can use a lil tweeking but makes a big difference over just level line input to amp to sub...
