Question

I see your using the AEM F/IC 6 HunterKiller89. just wondering how you avoid the code for (MAF) seeing as the F/IC 6 cant calibrate or clamp a frequency based MAF sensor

Also have you had any water issues haveing the F/IC on the fuse box, is that a safe spot? Ive taken one apart before and i know they are veary much NOT waterproof

its a sealed unit and seems pretty water tight, at least splash proof. Never ran into an issue with it, however i did ditch it for a trifecta tune. I bought the F/IC before Trifecta started supporting the L61.

I was going to use an aem F/IC8 for my build cause that version suports the frequency MAF sensor and i have a lot of experience with the F/IC6. But the F/IC8 is almost $600 that along with the wideband and other equipment needed to tune it my self brings it to around 850 Trifecta doesent have the pricing on their wabsite for the Cobalt with that said compared to 850 between the F/IC8 and the gauges to do it my self is the custom tune worth it? they dont give an exact price on their website How much did it cost for yours?

Another question for you HunterKiller89, What all did you include when you were listing Vehicle Modifications when ordering your trifecta tune, just wondering what detals I would need to include to get the tune right

tell him every engine mod you have done, one he sends you a basic tune you can more then likely run the car, but i wouldnt go crazy with it because the ratios will stil need tweaked. run a data log and send him the file so he can see how the car is running, then he should send you back another tune file to load.

like the above, every performance mod and supporting mod you have. suspension stuff obviously doesnt matter, but mention exhaust stuff, cams, injectors, what TB you're gonna use, things like a transmission cooler, etc.

Were you able to use the stock brake hose for the manifold to the mastercylinder or did you have to buy the one for the LSJ?
