No I don't want these cams.
Yes, the cams have been made. There were several tests to perform before actually installing them into the car. The first was the ensure the profile is correct, the second is the installation and alignment of the hex drive, the third is to check lobe/journal spacing, journal diameters, base circle and the inverted ramp location. The fourth was a check of the camshaft in a test jig which is spun at 3500rpm for a full day, lastly, installation into the JBP car. All of this has been performed. However, with the lift we have we are going back to remove the cyl. head and install replacement valve springs to prevent coil-bind and valve-float. Regardless, we'll go back to stock cams and perform a baseline dyno.
We have one tester that is trying to coordinate these cams with their build. However they are about a month out. If there's anyone who is able to test within a shorter period of time, we are offering them on a 1st come 1st serve basis.
i want a drop in cam for my 07 ss/sc but i want more dur. like a 272, and more lift like 540 to 550 ill buy valve springs thats no problem .If im going to buy cams i want a performance cam not stock crap or close to stock.if im going to go through all the trouble ,and spend all the money to buy every thing i need to install a cam ,i better be able to tell the car has a cam in it for one. It better chug and i want lift also and should make around 15 whp. you make something we can use like that ill buy everything i need right now.
