BEFORE
AFTER
Sorry for the long delay in posting the before and after dyno's. The engine has more torque top end. With the new cams you lose the linear torque band and bottom end suffers quite a bit. We hooked up the AFR in the tail pipe for the AFTER install run and peg rich up top, but nothing too detrimental. The car chases the commanded idle, it is hard to keep. The sound is extensively rumbly and pleasant to the ears. We sincerely feel with adequate tuning, the LSJ can fetch double the HP numbers with these cams, maybe more. We're going to keep tuning and see if we can do. After market Valve springs are necessary to prevent coil bind. The lift is 0.480", the duration is 262*. At this moment, we'll slap a part number on these cams and throw them up on the website tonight and plan a GB too. Like I said before, we were hoping for more out-of-the box hp, but it looks like tuning will be a real challenge for each and every car since there are so many variables.

gear changes.
red is usually the most recent runs on a dyno jet. can be changed though.
no rpms. using speed, or time will increase the power numbers in the calculations.
the average user is going to look at these charts and be confused as to what the real numbers are before and after.

also if anyone is concerned, the test car only has a 3.0" exhaust for mods. Everything else is stock.

regardless, heading back to the dyno after more tuning. we'll squeeze more than 8.2whp. we'll put up every variable requested if need be.. then switch back to stock and do another base line with every variable requested. There's nothing to hide behind these cams.
