JBP: Are Colt Cams still making these for you or is someone else?

 

No, Colt Cams currently only grinds our 2.4LD9 cams.

so thats why on the end of rods cam it says colt cams on it

so that's why the trifail cams you have ARE ground by colt cams for the lsj.

 

i dont think colt would be too happy if they found that out that jbp was using another manufacturer huh?

 

Geoff at Colt isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, I doubt he'd really catch on.

Regardless, JBP is low volume, at best. If he's been able to keep his business going, it's not because of orders from JBP...

Hmmm, I thought they did all of them!

 

Rods cams were made by colt cams.

We are selling the remaining Tri-flow cams we have, which were ground at a previous date by Colt Cams.

Once testing is complete for the new lsj cams we will work on making new grinds for the other ecotecs, to be ground in the GTA.

Geoff knows we are using another grinder here in the GTA. I have nothing bad to say about Geoff and Colt Cams, they provide quality work.


Colt use to do all of our cams, we have found a cam grinder closer to us that has excellent work. It cuts the cost of shipping the cams to colt and back here so we can charge less for our cams.

 

i bet with your new cams coming out you cant even give those triflows away. but you could give me a set! when do you expect the testing to be done?

 

For what it's worth, if you still need an out of shop tester, I'm here.

so we're doing a group buy for cams that are not yet made, have never been tested, have never even been installed, and at this point may or may not even exist, all being run by a company with a bad reputation as is... i'm down!
