Take it from the manufacturer, there's no restriction on this header. The tubes were engineered at the proper turn radius and length to ensure maximum benefit of heading the exhaust gases to the collector.

We'll get a customer over and video tape him driving around. You got to hear this header.

holy **** badass! nice JBP... i'm diggin it. Question for everyone... how hard is it to install a header yourself? does a bunch of things need to be removed or is it relatively simple? Seriously considering this!

Looks no different than putting in the CA shorty header other than it may/will weigh more

Looks a lot different then the ca header. This looks to take up much more space therfore harder to install. I had heard of people having trouble installing them and a few gave up and sold it. Have never seen a good answer as far as how to actually shoe horn this thing in.

I guess I can see why with some of the tubes being in the way....

no, just the oem header. The half shaft could be removed for ease of installation, but is not necessary. The header comes with detailed instructions.

I have one and it is still sitting in the basement. The ONLY way that I could see getting that in was to take out the half shaft. I followed the install instructions and took the valve cover off. Did not give near enough room to install from the top.

You can do it without taking the half shaft out; It takes practice. I've done the prototype dozens of times and installed three on customers cars.

Taking the valve cover off will let you access the top bolts easier, it does not mean that you can install the header from the top though... The header can only fit from underneath the car.

ps: get that header in the car and off the basement floor.

Hmm, Take passenger wheel off > take half shaft mounting bracket off > pop half shaft out from transmission. 15 minutes tops.
