I'd summon a dealer for the best possible price... The list price is more expensive than the header on sale.

Wow... thats not something to be proud of... I dont know why i would want to contact a dealer. I mean if you as the manufacturer wont sell a dp seperate then how do you expect a dealer to do so? I guess since your unwilling to sell me a dp, i just take my business elsewhere.

There is no dyno of the header itself, only a dyno of the Vortex intake, exhaust and header all installed simultaneously. Any current customers have a dyno performed of just the header they'd like to share?

Everyone needs to realize that even without the dyno graph this header will out flow almost all the headers that are out for the cobalt right now.

i don't think you're understangind right here...

JBP is more then willing to sell only the downpie, without combining it with the header. what he is trying to say is that if you want to get a price cotation, you need to pass threw a dealer since JBP only sales at retail during sales.

contact USD Autosports for cotation!

I am considering. As long as they come with instructions I guess its worth trying. Excellent price though.

JBP,

just to get this info out there for others looking.

its a long tube unit thats actually been engineered for primary length!
no one else has done that!!

is it an equal length? (not like it matters in an SC application, just wondering)

How/Where on the website can I add the optional extra Wideband sensor bung and bung plug?

And to make sure I understand the process - Buyer pays and receives the header after the production run is complete? When would the buyer be expecting the header to be shipped/charged?

Thanks...

you cant add the option on the website, you have to send an email directly to info@jbodyperformance.com specifying that the additional bung be added. this is added for $15.

and you are correct with the process.. were hoping for a 30 day turn around from this point on to te shipping date.

Sorry, another question for JBP....

The 3 inch collector bolts to the stock downpipe...How does this work? I thought the exhaust piping was 2.25 or 2.5 on the SS/SC....?

Thanks again for your help...

it probably won't, but will this cause a check engine light? I may just hop on this deal...that price is amazing.

Stock DP is about 3" at the flange. It gets smaller at the cat, then smaller still where it bolts up to the cat-back, which is 2.5". There is one section of 2.25" over the axle.

The header won't cause a check engine light when installed properly. If you tend to install parts without gaskets, then yes, you'll get a light.

The price is just stupid low... if you we're waiting for a header, you have no more excuses. This is THE header to get.

Thinking about getting the whole "Vortex" package (header/DP/Catback) as the header and DP are reasonable, but the Catback is way pricey and I can't really tell why it's so much more...granted a competitior's Catback is "only" 2.75 sized but it's fully polished and $699...can't see the $350 dollar difference...

Anyone?

Also I emailed JBP Sunday about paying for/adding an additional bung to the header (may change it to the DP as it's no cost) but haven't received any answer ?

Odd, Myself and Marco didn't see an email come in concerning that. Anywhoo, the additional O2 bung on the header is only $15. This comes with the plug and the O2 bung welded to the header.

The catback pricing is as such for now... Maybe we might do a huge production run of our exhausts as well, this would bring the price down considerably. If this is the case, we'd sell the entire system as a whole upgrade kit and offer a discount to through our dealer network.

That's cool...I'd like to keep the total exhaust ( header/DP/Catback) with one make ...but the header is at a good price now... so ohhhh, the pressure of decisions
