Yes... quality REALLY sucks. New Video. Do it outside with the camera a good 20 feet behind and to a side.

What exactly do you mean by sounds like crap? Just sounds weird, or ricey, or like an exhaust leak, like the pacesetters?

 

I can't even describe it. When its idling, or gentle revs like in the sound clips on the jbp website, it sounds ok. But if you want to lay on the throttle at all, or even cruise above 3 grand, its horrible.

 

Heh, that worries me a little bit. I do want to get one of these, but I don't want the car to sound like ass. My car sounds awesome as is, I don't wanna lose that, and I know that an equal-length will change that. ****, I guess I gotta wait for my buddy to get one and see what it sounds like. Thanks.

 

Surprised you don't like the sound WOT. I think the cars sound incredibly deep and throaty with the header..

We're gonna shoot some high quality audio/video tomorrow, then post it the day after.. That should give people an indication as to what it will sound like.

Update: We got a promise of delivery time of 22 days from the welders... I'll keep everyone abreast of the situation.

did anyone notice that the Garage door was shut while they were revving? fumes are bad for you, lol

 

It's entirely possible that you sent me crap and send everyone else good stuff. After all, one of the primaries on the header touches up against the engine since you sent it back after fixing the warped flange. Not to mention all of the work that had to be done to the dp and catback just to be able to get it onto the car.

 

Since you sent it back and we fixed it, I'm sure we could've helped you out for any other issues that arose.

So these actually fit? I NEVER heard of anyone getting one to fit, you have any high quality photos of it installed? Im just curious.

 

JBP, I completely missed this post...any units still available at the $385 price and.....these are the updated ones without any head modiying required correct? And, can I buy direct from you since this thread was made by you or do I need to call CED and place it through them?
