anyone got a message from jbp about a confirmacion/tracking number of the shipping?

 

No but I did get this jsut the other day.

"We're going to initiate a reship of all the 6 outstanding headers with Purolator Monday. This is when we have time to reallocate and coordinate a drop-off to Purolator. This way, you get your header in 1 to 2 business days and its viably trackable.

So they ship this coming August 4th, Monday. Hopefully it will arrive within 1 - 2 weeks from shipment day.

 

That's one to two days. Not one to two weeks.

 

he's on vacation. he's not thinking about making sense.

 

They told you monday but i got an email saying wed ! I dont get it but lets see whats happens and i hope we get tracking numbers this time around !

So today is the big day lets see what happens ! I hope the last 6 get an email today stating a tracking number ! For some reason my hopes arent high up its more like igota see these headers in my hands to believe they ever got shipped !

 

Today is a holiday in Canada so don't expect anything today.

 

I feel sorry for anyone that bought this header. I honestly do not think the gains will be worth the pain in the ass and time spent trying to install it.

This is the same intake that 2 years ago wouldn't fit on a cobalt. They had to redesign the whole thing because everyone that bought one couldnt install it. Who says the redesign worked?

They probably made 200 last batches and will never make them again.

And if you wanna ban me for letting everyone know the truth go for it. Maybe the original vendor should have done R&D before releasing such a terrible piece for almost a thousand dollars.

Funny how 2 years ago they were almost a grand and now there 365 LOL. Last time i checked that means they are not selling.

Damn it...I talked to JBP Friday and they said the shipment would be on Monday (this is after the statement made over 2 weeks earlier about shipping "at the end of the month").... They keep stringing us the **** along... I guess they think this is all funny & clever & ****...

Whomever I talked to, literally said that they're too busy to go to wherever it is they have to go to ship these...they have " to find the time"... Good to know that the $45+ charge for shipping has paid off

Nice treatment of customers who paid for their items roughly 2 months ago. Classic case of "we got your dough so FU" attitude...at least that's how it's coming across to me...

And just for the record, 6 people (that we know of...) not getting their header out of 54 orders is over a 10% **** up...

 

I know no one wants to hear it but as I have said before, "you have no idea of the pressure I am putting on them to get my car done" so blame me for their having to wait to take it to the shippers.
Some of you will understand and others will say you don't care about my car. For those who understand, thank you and for those who don't care about my car I can say the same about your header (try waiting 27 months)

i totally aggress with you..about your car and i know you want that bad boy done...but on the otherside...if jbp is lackin in people to get things done that are nesscary to run a bussiness they should maybe hire alittle more help...no just not make loaded statements that they are not backing up...

 

Rod seriously your waiting for a hole car to be made custom ! You decided to put ur car in the shop and you knew the time or atleast imagined the time it would take ! We all knew the header was custom and yes that it would take some time but dam 4 months and not only that but 2 months of promissing shipment saying all headers have been shipped but WTF Seriously what the hell is going on over there . We have heard it all from all being shipped to his wife having an accident not saying that she didnt but we dont know ! and now this bs a holiday ? WTF

I have have siad it in the past i could drove up 8 hours and gotten my header a month ago if this was the case

 

I've been more than patient ( as have others) but I'm starting to feel taken advantage of and feel like my header is being held hostage or something...

Is it some type of major undertaking for a business to ship merchandise in ?
How much time could it possibly take away from your build?
Maybe one ******' hour?

They should have been shipped out as soon as it was brought to light that people had not received them - which was mid-******* July - but no, it was "Wait until the end of the month" and now THAT has passed by...

It all comes across like I've already mentioned...They've been paid (in good faith with an understanding that the product would be done and shipped within a reasonable time) and don't obviously give a **** or care about any further business from us...

Oh, I think the header is probaly a fine piece (The GB is over, but you still buy one) but it's the actual "getting it" part that seems to be a problem...

Exactly one hour away from the shop and im pretty sure that they have more than 1 person working there it takes one guy to go the the post office!!!!!!!!!

I have traveled to Puerto Rico 2 times and i just got back from Washington DC and still no fkn header !

Next trip gona be to Toronto Canada ! ! ! ! !
I should just go up there pic up the remaining Hedars and bring them back into the states with me and deliver them my self to make sure everyones is really delivered no more of this Bullshit !


Imagine if we had the headers the exact day we ordered them and JBP would have had to wait 4 months to get paid then what ???????

 

The one thing I do agree about is that those headers have been paid for for 4 months. I will be talking to JBP today and I will once again bring up the headers.
As for my knowing how long my car was going to take, wrong. If I had ever done this before I would have known. This car went far past what I originally intended and I would never have done this if I actually knew how long this would take. My advice for everyone is never do this type of project. It takes way too long and is a waste of money. Custom is just a fancy word for "financial rapage".

 

I could have told you that 2 years ago. Should have just bought a 402 LS2 a fox body and a big ass turbo and 20K/ 2 months later you would be out running your Cobalt that isnt even built yet

 

The problem is that I would have listened to you then, about as much as I listen to you today.
Besides that I don't like fox body's.
