So are you telling me all these people are crazy for running anything lower than a 2.8 ?

Dam i even spoke to zzp and they didn tell me such a thing the said i should run a 2.8 on the street and a 2.6 on the track cuz i would be running better gas .

A 2.8 with cooling mods is fine for the street where it's get in and go.
For the track, I can understand a 2.6, if you have 'non-reusable' cooling mods, to put your coolant below ambient... other wise your gonna cook the intake charge, thus loosing power.

You might be better off with a TVS if you really want to justify needing that much freeflow at the back. Otherwise, stick with a conservative exhaust setup, mild pulley, and make your work inside the head, and tune your timing to a nice healthy powerband.
I was told by Intense racing and Cobalt Addiction that running a stage 5 kit with the 2.5" pulley was ok even for a daily driver. i also plan on having a cai, full 3" exhaust, heat exchanger, dual pass end plate, possibly meth, and i think thats it. I was told that it would be fine!!! I want this car to scream and be able to beat almost anything on the road except ofcourse the suped up mussle cars.

i would recommend a port and polish of the blower as well to keep iat's down some more. from my understanding a 2.5 is over-spinning the blower big time, and may require a lot of regular maintenance to the blower. pm lsjwannabe if you want to run that set-up on a DD. he had a 2.5 for a while, and he still may.

im not using a mail order tune, im getting a custom tune and i am also going to port and polish the blower, sorry i forgot to mention that.

Finally....

It's a lot smaller than I thought...

Curious if we have to use these bolts anyway... I'm not to fond of tightening the provided bolts w/ an allan key... eh..
