i got mine back early last month but was there supposed to be header wrap and upgraded bolts in all of the shipments? Just wanted to know because I have heard that the bolts sent to us needed to be replaced with better ones.
Either way, i'm not too worried. I'm doing something very 'bad' to this header in a few weeks... like getting a polished ceramic coating job.

On top of that, I'm building a custom head shield for #2, so header wrap won't be needed.
for anyone doing the install there are a couple things to note about the tools you need in addition to the list that comes with the kit you need another internal torx socket the E7 socket is for the studs on the head but you need a bigger internal torx socket to remove and transfer the studs in the header to downpipe flange i think an E8 or just bring a whole set. and a 6mm allan key socket to install the new header to head only works in a couple of spots i needed a allen key wrenck that had a ball end to be able to get at an angle. and deff only use 6mm metric one because the non metric one can and most likely will strip it. header sounds amazing!

It might have header wrap in there somewhere... I didn't look in the bottom of the box.

mine didn't come with header wrap so hopefully i won't need it, however i still e-mailed jbp to find out whats going on, i also told them they needed to put their catback on sale cause i really really want it but not for $1000.00

A full 3 inch meticulously maintained is kinds overkill. U would have to be running a lot of boost for it to really make a difference. As long as you have a decent header and a non restrictive down pipe, I think anything 2.5 or better down the line will be more than adequate.

Yeah. Anything much less than a 3 inch is more or less over spinning the blower's capabilities. You'll wind up having to swap out your coupler, s/c oil and rotor bearings every 3 months to keep it all running primo. That's a setup for a strict friday night track car.
You might be better off with a TVS if you really want to justify needing that much freeflow at the back. Otherwise, stick with a conservative exhaust setup, mild pulley, and make your work inside the head, and tune your timing to a nice healthy powerband.
