What are the roads like there now construction wise?

I just talked to Brags. He said the roads are getting better, and may even by done by next week.

Its funny Madison was pretty good before, while all the surrounding streets are terrible. And they go and fix madison, must be because of the united center. The have a layer of blacktop down, and all the little stuff done, just waiting on final coat. And BTW Tom did John send you some pins for me?

We need a meeting, cruise night or something in south chicago land area

 

The more we have meets/cruises/whatever for each area of Chicago, the fewer people there are to show up, and then it's more likely that no one will show up at all.

We were seeing a good 25 or so people at the monthly meets over the winter. Now that it's summer and more people should be out and about, we are lucky to hit 10... Weak.

 

so just noticed performance auto werks is right down the street from my work..

 

went cruising through chitown yesterday just for the hell of it.... traffic sucks and im scared a taxis gonna run into me. im used to easy streets around my town but man chitown is hecktic. stopped by the beach for a bit (free parking from 9-11 at night) we should meet there (on 41 and oak blvd)

It's Labor Day Weekend, of course traffic is going to suck. For that matter, any streets can suck in Chicago, just depends where you are when.

The meet at the Palace is right off 90/94, late enough that traffic isn't an issue. And they have free parking in the lot there.

fosho! if you go down rhea dr. away from the mcdonalds my ss will probably be sitting out front, i work at the cavo facility for comcast. everytime I pass pwerks it looks quite empty..

 

lots of people hate the city. Im one of them just happend to deal with it for the 1 day. if i never had to go into the city id be happy! too much crap that could happen and has happend. but still fun to chill with other balts

 

We park all the cars around back. Usually there's only daves truck and a few other cars out front as they all get pulled in and out every night. You have probably seen mine a few times out that way

 

I figured, just wasn't sure. I really would love to hit the dyno sometime. whens their next dyno day? Maybe I can swing by after work.

 

it will be sometime in the fall on a saturday. the way things have been in the shop lately i dont think its been on anyones mind.... too busy and 2 of 4 employees left due to personal things..
