See that little nipple thing sticking up to the right of the cap? That's what I'm wondering about. I really dont feel like taking an hour and a half drive to the dealer...Thanks for the help!

 

ah, yeah i didn't see that there at first. mine does not have any cap on it. looks just like yours. but after looking down into it it doesn't go straight down, it goes down and then takes like a 40* bend in towards the firewall. i think it may just be a vent or something

 

Awesome, thanks for looking for me. My friend kind of thought it was like a PCV valve of some sort, that's just a vent. It looked off to me, because the reservoir has a lot of brake fluid on the outside of it, so I figured it was leaking.

Now, I just need to figure out my vacuum leak/maf sensor issues. Looks like the hose that runs from the intake tubing to the back of the valve cover is ripped right at the part where it connects to the intake piping. I'll try and stop in auto zone for a new hose or something. It threw the code twice today, and I'm not enjoying it.

 

yeah i've got 43k miles and just noticed it was like that hahaha. so, obviously its not causing any problems

 

I'm just shy of 78k. Will be around 80 by next week. Lol

I think I'm going to go take a peek at that intake, maf and all the vacuum hoses that go with it. I need to get this p0068 code fixed.

 

now you had me wondering about my brake resevoir mine looks just like yours so I guess it's normal
