I think i have a blow-back problem... here is my issues.
Car is running rich causes the cat to smell clogged and the car to drive spiratically.
The ABS kicks in and then turns off as wheel as traction control.
The Thermostat still needs to be fixed.... again.
I popped my hood at lunch today to see that I have a blow back problem too. From cylinder 4 the valve cover is covered in oil, the intake has oil running down the pipe from where I belive the PCV valve is at.
The transmission is SLAMMING gears. It's fun, but scary to think my car.... with 32,000 miles is about to blow up.
Any ideas on where I should start? A buddy of mine owns a garage, but I'm broke right now. May try and get a stock intake tube again and drive it back to the dealer...

Okay... took the car to get the OBD2 ran today. Only code is the "Coolant Idle tempature too cold"
Looking at the motor though while he was scanning the car I think the Intake manifold gasket has given out. There is Carbon buildup like crazy right below the fuel rail on the driver side of the manifold.
Tomorrow is tear down day I guess. We shall see what it means for the cobalt. 32,000 miles and I'm ready to get rid of it.

Wow, I hope my SS doesnt assplode like that. Good luck with the dealer!
Thus why I'm not hopping on the mod train like some of the other 08-09 SS owners. I'll let them break it and find the weaknesses for me
I'm not poor, but I certainly can't afford a new motor right now if I popped it.

Alright so what is it with people and them getting upset when I pass them on the right. If you don't want me to pass you from the right hand side....... MOVE OVER!!!!
Okay I feel better now.... Good morning Iowa..

I know what is that..... I'll be cruising behind some car and we're doin' a modest 70-75 mph when suddenly he begins to slow because were coming up on traffic doing 65, thats my cue to pass before the pacing begins.....lol
the only time it doesn't really bug me too much is when i am rockin the stang, if your cruising in the fast lane going slow and i can safely pass on your right, i will blow your doors off lol
Hey do any of you guys have a Stock 2.2L intake box and tube? I can't find mine after the move and need to get the car to the dealer to get my warrenty work done before i roll over the miles. I have 33,000 miles and warrenty is up at 36,000 or in july.
Windy as hell here today!

the CAI shouldnt void any warranty.
I found out that third and wide open is excellent for passing when you are doing 70-75mph

Hope you get that fixed under warranty there Switt23. Doesn't hurt to ask the dealer some will work with you, most won't though. You won't know till you ask.........
I just called... the service manager said no worries. He said even with a CAI with 32,000 miles the car shouldn't be spitting oil. They're gunna fix everything
