any of you guys from central gonna come up for sunday?? if its not too cold, you can put up a tent and stay out here sunday night.

 

not going to this anyways but you forgot the date,, also i wouldnt say official b/c then it will make ppl think the sunday one isnt real

 

We established in the other thread that this is the Official State Wide meet, where as the one on the 10th is for a lot of the northern guys.

As for making it, I'm not sure, depends on how much birthday gas money I get.

 

....most of the people are northern people. and the central guys decided that the bloomington one was the "Official" meet.

 

I've not heard of most of them being from the north. But anyways it makes sense to have the official meet in the center of the state, you northern guys kinda always have your own thing up there.

Your reading to far into all of this.

I started the "anyone up for an illinois meet" or w/e the hell i titled it trying to get a statewide meet going. Lots of people responded but no one really had a date or place, yes you had yours but as I remember it had to be moved due to date, then I suggested mine then the 10th came up? Anyways the hole point of these two threads are to get the ball rolling on making at least one state wide meet. It makes it a little better when a car show is involved too. Its also a great way to show the cobalt is out in force. I'm not trying to make this a competition or make yours less signifigant.

I only made this thread because of confusion in the last one, we had a lot of dates thrown around and everyone kept asking.

Plus even if half the people are from northern IL the drive shouldnt be that bad, get a convoy going and cruise.

Plus for a lot of the Central and Southern IL people going clear up to northern suburbs is a long drive full of traffic. You guys have the ability to say hey, come up at this time and have great turn out simply because a large population mass in Chicago and the area.
