Well, he took the line off today, and made full boost over multiple runs, so the actuator is not leaking, but that would mean that the valve is closed, not open, wouldnt it?

Its fine, I can wait till you have your car back.

next is to test the solenoid. only three things do boost control in these cars.

the noid, ecm, and the actuator. now, you more or less narrowed it down to two of them.

100% control on the boost settings rules out the ecm.

just because a part is new doesn't mean it is good

The noid? Location?

O and to add if that BPV is working or not...When i unhooked the rear vaccum line on the BPV It started to click rapidly which means its workin correct?

I dont know why im selling it... its a cluster of things that makes me not want it anymore. And i got the car before i drove it, im just not really happy with it anymore. i would rather pick up a 3000 car and fix it up rather than have a newer car and keeping it stock cuz i cant afford to fix **** that breaks. cough cough *clutch* cough cough

I dont know how people have so many problems with their LSJ....Mine has been great to me "Knock on wood"...its still on the stock clutch at 89k and has been modded since the day i bought it, a Saturn Mechanic owned it before me, i have had it 2 years now!!!!! Last year it ran nitrous, this year it ran nitrous....Granted yes the nitrous has caused problems, before that she ran at 90%, things could have been better, but it will be gone in December for a RWD or AWD car.

day i bought my car the abs light came on so i lost my anti lock, my electric steering went out. My clutch started slipping when it gets cold and my exhaust has a annoying rattle at 4900 rpm. My interior peices chip like no other even tho they are taken care of like a kid. Just a pain in the ass. I like the capabilities of the motor and they are really unrated but at the track even stock fwd sucks. after driving awd dsms and stuff and some WS6s i have to say im never buying a nother fwd car again.
