there is no soldering or heat shrinking involved. i got a diagram of the plug and play harness its pretty simple, but help is always welcome still i might try to do this with supervision

 

well then you dont need any help. it will have a plug on it that plugs right into the factory connector. (like the new ones i have on my car now)

 

yah but mounting the ballasts might require some help as i dont have any tools for this..

 

i would get 3m double sided tape and mount it to the car mine came with double sided tape and worked fine

Thanks for the info. Talked to VMP and I'm ready to get going. Can't wait for the scedule to be released. As for a helmet, no problem. I already have one because I had to wear one when running for the 130MPH Club back in September.

 

Hopefully this season, there will be more than just two or three that go out there.

 

3bspec is the company.. so the hi beams work but the low beams dont. go figure

disregard that. i had the plug into the ballast wrong... i called the guy and he told me turn it aroudn now they work great!! love it!!

 

130mph club, how do you get into that.... because today a jetta tried to do a ricer fly by and i seen him coming up fast, i waited for him to get on my back bumper as he started his ricer fly by then tromped it. by the time i hit full boost he was half a car ahead of me and then he stopped pulling and started falling back. I looked down and i was at 135mph and he was about 20 cars back and i know he was trying to catch up because he was zipping in and out of traffic along with me, lol. i slowed down to see if was a turbo jetta... it was, and not only a turbo jetta, a VR4 jetta. lol

i ve telling my sons and girlfriend and her son that i would take them out there. been there once. got sunburned so bad i was out of work for 2 days...but i loved it! as far as taking my car on to the track, maybe not. but i ll still come with you guys. besides, someone has to take pictures and videos of your cobalts whining down the track at ungodly speeds! i would be game for saturdays though.

my seat brackets finaly came in tonight. took me 2 hours to get them modified and installed. I wish the website i got them at would have told me they were made for sparco seats... i would have been expecting to modify them. But they are in... ill snap some pictures

got my stage 2 installed this morning. because of the bad weather, i wasn't able to stretch her feet. except when i pulled out in from of a truck and hit the gas. holy **** did it take off on me. next up, my exhaust.
ps. forgot to mention that it throw the lean code. the dealership reset the light. havent had a problem since.
