Uhhh, try using the toolbars on the right and top. I looked it over and it seemed pretty self explanatory. The Maxton Mile is in Maxton, NC. They have 5 events per year. You have to pay to play. You have to be a ECTA member to do this. Once you are a member you will get stuff like a rule book, etc. that explains what the safety equipment is that you need. If you have any questions you can just do what I do, send them an email. Maxton is down I-95 in southern North Carolina, maybe about 30 minutes from South Carolina.

Gates open at 9am and close at 6pm for TnT. if it rains they will put safety first. Just a little rain will cause a rain delay and drying of the track will commence when the rain stops. If it's going to rain a lot they will close the track.

 

if yer running faster than 13.999 then u must wear a helmet

 

The Maxton mile sounds like a lot of fun. This way I won't have to drive to texas or utah to see how fast my car can go in a mile. We should do this Steve..., no risk of tickets this way.

1. I love the car.... im very happy with it... but some things are going on in life that i might not be able to keep it. and we all know what its like to sacrifice things we dont wanna give up.

ym problem is that i make sacrifices for the car.. but like im tired of always being broke. im always up to date on my bills but i have no money to enjoy myself hardly... jenny is always offering to help buy this or that.. i just dont know if i can keep this up

 

well stick to this man i know how it feels being broke and just working for a car its a nice ride dude and i know you don't want to give it up (believe me i would'nt want to) but you can do it you just need to sit down with a finance DEPT the army has and they can help you buget how you spend the cash you make the give you the plans then its up to you to put it into action and make it work brotha you know im hear for you bro talk to one of your SGT i think that stuff is still around

 

Cesar is right. Use the financial tools you have at your disposal. It's not like you're in serious debt, you just have to maintain your funds better. Either that or get advanced a paygrade.

 

lol having a nice car isnt everything though... there are other things id like to do... go on vacation. save some money for once. lol

 

Like you said, you haven't made a decision set in stone yet. Take the time to see the specialist at your command. You probably would have the money to go on vacation, but the money spent on little everyday things that you usually don't need, but want them anyway.

 

true. i think ad i not went racing i woulda been good. 30 bucks plus the 20 to fill my tank. so i see where i go wrong.

 

Steve, I've been there before. I know how you feel. If there are TnT days that you want to go to let me know. I may be able to help in some way. You don't always need to drive. Some of the most fun I've had racing was actually in the bleachers. If you don't want to drive out there let me know. I'll always give you a ride if I'm headed to the track. Just let me know, man.

I know how ya feel Steve-O. I've only got a $14k LS and I'm broke 3-4 days bfore every paycheck and I don't even put any money into my car cause in honesty I think it's pointless to try to make an LS fast. But..I push through and somehow survive off of what little money I manage to save. It sucks but perservere and drive on and things will work out in the end. Just gotta sit down and think things through and prioritze your spending.

 

I'll spot you in april if you need it so you can drive up there with the rest of us.

lol good ol'walmart. there everywhere. im going to start a car allotment for mypay. half and half payments per paycheck is better than all at once and be broke
