I am going tomorrow. Hoping for 12s with a big hope in there. I will be back but only to visit. I know I am for sure coming back for the GM even tup at Stanton in the fall. That will probably be the next time in Michigan though after tomorrow I'll keep you guys updated on how fast the tracks in Kansas are!

 

I'll go.. but my car is fubarred.. I'll only be able to go for like maybe a few hours at most. Just watch you guys.. my car has been in the dealership since Monday and there is no ETA when I am getting it back... crankshaft sensors own me.. along with my 2 page list of **** that randomly broke since 2-3 weeks ago.

I'll be rockin it in the rental...

That should explain the SS, the Sedan on the 29th or something to that nature I will be taking it to the dealership for an oil change and they will remove the sticker and the stupid pinstripping so it looks clean.

I'm not in a good mood right now period.. the dealership was trying to screw me at first, I got GM involved and explained lawsuit and 11 page service history of **** that has gone wrong since March of 05 in the same sentence. The dealerships tune changed quickly after a call from GM..

If they still refuse to fix "EVERYTHING" heads will roll and I will claim this bitch as a lemon. If all is fixed but something breaks again then I'm going straight to lemon law, 11 page service history of 2, 3, 4th time things breaking again and again is getting old.

As for dragging a rental...no thanks. it only had 4 miles when I got it. Not extactly broken in yet

I ordered the interceptor gauge, so I won't have any excuse for missing my shifts, lol and INTENSE threw in a free set of tranny mounts, hells yeah

I was hoping to have them by tomorrow, oh well

This will give me a chance to do those, and then either do motor mounts or a torque brace before I run her again.

I still need to take her in for the rough idle TSB anyways

God I hate Milan. I don't even know why I go there. Hopefully you guys have more luck than I did. I got in two runs the whole night. Three cars broke and had to be cleared off the track. Staff was a bunch of jackasses dicking around until they realized they had 125 cars to run still at 9:30. Then they were pushing people through. I got yelled at for using my intercooler sprayer. I don't have an IC sprayer and the tech guys couldn't find water anywhere on my car so we just said oh well. And I ran a shitty time. Needless to say I am dissappointed with my last track experience in Michigan for a while.

So what times did you run? same 'ol same 'ol? My times there were still 13.2-13.3 on street tires, but trapping 104-105

Was also hotter and more humid than the Street Warriorz thing, that along with boost leaks may have been my problem.

I did a compression test on the cylinders and they all seem fine, so the smoke issue doesnt appear to be internal. Just going to assume the turbo seals are going. Meanwhile i was a ******* and tried to put a sparkplug back in when part of the compression tester was still in the hole, and totally crushed the plug. But, those got replaced today so i'm cool.

What a bunch of dumbasses though, what made them think you had an intercooler sprayer?

 

I ran a 13.5 with a 2.15 60' so I left a lot there. The car was much better than that today. My first time I ran a 14.0 because of A)Me messing with boost limiting and getting a little excessive and B) Me messing with my tune. The tune I ran was alright but it just wasn't enough. The car felt like it fell on its face off the line.

I think I had water in my wheel well that I didn't notice and when I launched it all sloshed out. We searched everywhere in tech looking for some moisture but I couldn't find anything. I didn't have any problems on my second run 3 hours later. Good luck to all you guys later!
