thats sick!! if u need any help im just right down the street. i put my down pipe on..... exhaust on these cars are a hassle.... at least for me it is. aren't you gonna supercharge it? and what header and dp did u get?

If I was going to go with a car again, a dealer near us has a nice G8 GT there. I would also wait for the Buick Regal GS. The regular Regal is gutless, my neighbor just bought one!!

I have seen that silver one at Arby's, I believe he is Pro41 on here. This one had the wheels blacked out face, with silver on the inner portion. He looked over at me, but I was singing with my daughter. Must have thought I was a nut or something.

 

haha i actually saw ur car out there today. looks clean, nice parked angle... i was gonna supercharge but i went broke trying to do that. i want to turbo it but idk if i should even continue forced induction... i have a bad mab shorty header, and a zzp catted downpipe, making everything 2.5 inches all the way back lol i just dont have the resources to do anything

 

im going supercharged, im about 400 dollars away from having everything, including the tune. im so pumped

 

nice! im almost jealous but after the bolt ons ill prolly call it quits for a while... if you had tried to sell those projectors a bit earlier last month i wouldnt have wasted money on these third gens with LED halos i now have to swap lol

 

sell em and buy mine haha, itd be nice to sell em locally but theres not a huge cobalt scene up here

 

hahaha thank you how do you like the sound of that header. i have the catted dp from zzp .... mine is 3'' but maybe u can give me an idea when u get that header on. i was looking into that header and wana know what ppl think

 

Badmab header barely changed the sound on my 2.2, I've got a zzp dp too

 

i havent heard yours in action yet; i actually am at home for a few mins while im on return from a delivery lol. when its close to home, i make a stop to chill lol

@drumrush, you say it didnt change the sound? what did? the dp? intake?

 

The header added a little volume and a slightly deeper tone. The downpipe made it noticeably louder and deeper, it really changed the sound. Between my full exhaust and intake it roars at WOT

 

something definitely to look forward to.

 

so is anyone here putting there balts away for winter? mines been in my garage all cleaned up and chilling don't feel like puttin miles on her when i got a beater =D

 

If you're gonna store it, take out the battery, throw it on a trickle charger, and don't forget to put some fuel stabilizer in it. I did that last year and had no problems once spring came around.

I decided to rock the cobalt this winter. It wasnt worth keeping up with 2 cars when I only drive one of them 4 months out of the year, if that lol

However my fiance's dads truck isnt being used so I may just ask him if I can use that this winter.

 

I rock a 1996 cutlass with 160000 mi,es on it in the winter. It is a beast and I don't care if someone hits me or I run off the road. It's a good car and a tank in the snow

 

If I get my truck in the next couple of weeks like im supposed to I will be washing the **** outta the cobalt and tucking her away for the winter...

 

Buying some snow tires but it's not gonna see much drive time as long as the beater is available
