Agreed! I drive my 16 yr old cutlass in the winters that has rust and 150000 miles on it. It is also a beast and I wouldn't be pissed if I wrecked into something or was bumped by someone. Why not keep my ss looking nice and get to drive it a while? Not looking to upgrade until I get closer to buying a zo6 later down the road any ways.

Looks like a week or two and she will be out of the garage maybe this week for a wash and wax though.

I didn't say beat the **** out of it and drive through 2' snow drifts. That's what the beaters are for. I use an 06 ls cobalt for **** kicking but I still drive the SS occasionally during the winter months. I just LOL at all the people who are afraid to drive their Cobalt on a 60* day because there's still a bit of salt left on the roads.

I just said screw it a while ago. Daily driver status ftw. I do the best I can to keep the car clean and rust free with full washes every week, or more depending on how much salt there is. In the end it's better to just enjoy it. Rusty parts and body panels can be replaced, but the time spent driving pos cars instead of the fun cars cannot. In the end it's just a cobalt, like my car is just a lancer. It's not a $90,000 GTR or something.
