hahahahaha " nothing much " hahahaha im just doing this and that blah blah blah. im gonna make my car fast as hell. its nothing much i LOLed that was to funny.

for me.. over the winter i put on a zzp/ magnaflow 3" exhaust. and im getting an E85 tune. (tune will be in the summer/spring) other than that im solid. my next upgrade is axles and something to get wheel hop to go away for this summer. after that i am going to save for is a turbo swap, or i was thinking a twin-charge. that probably wont be for another year or 2

So when does everyone who stores their cars normally bring them back out? I can't wait for this winter crap to be over.. tired of washing my car twice a week lol. Ready for the warm weather and cruises to get going.

Lets see, what all have I done this winter. I have put on cm springs, zzp fifth injector, fuel controller, aeromotive stealth pump, rerouted the boost controller to in cab, and I have a set of retrofit lights coming. All black housings, morimoto hids in headlights and fog lights. I will start to drive the car as soon as we get a couple good rains to wash the salt off.

I feel kinda boring not have done any actual mods this winter, but I guess new car + snow tires + all new belts and pulleys is close enough

Tommy, I am looking at a few LMM duramax diesels. I know since you were at stadium I figured I would get your opinion on them. I have been tossing around the idea of a half ton, but worry about pulling my car + trailer (6500lbs?) down to georiga and around the east coast. So I just decided I would get a used 07-08 2500 that way I dont have to worry about it. Most of the ones I am looking at are just the LT but are loaded and have between 70 and 80k miles on them.

Sounds like you've already got a good plan going. You shouldn't have any problem pulling your car with a duramax, they're good trucks. I've seen people pull cars around with much less of a truck. But if you want the real truck expert Timmy is gonna be the one to talk to.

lol ok thanks he has been pushing me to get a ford but I cant afford a 6.7 and the 6.0 and 6.4 arent reliable enough for me. I know they can pull it no problem, if I were just going to pull the car around town I would get a 1500 no question. But towing down to Bradenton Florida would be over 2,000 miles that weekend alone and I think it would be real taxing on a 1500.

I always had good luck there as well. I bought my 06 SS/SC there new and a few months later they put in a stage 2 kit. My clutch started slipping about a half hour after that and they went ahead and replaced that as well for me under warrenty.

Shortly after that I put on a 2.8 pulley so the stage 2 was a waste but oh well. Then I got rid of it and either the motor blew up or it was totaled I am not sure which.

Jester the only real issue with the duramax has been with the earlier models and the injector pumps and injectors. We have fixed quite a few of them in the shop I used to work at. Just something to watch out for.

Ok thanks. I have three I am emailing about right now, one GMC and 2 Chevys, my wife and I both like the GMC more and it is also the closest "Missouri".
