My only issue with ebay is that they aren't always in good shape. I ordered a black one off ebay and it was used and they give their "minor wear and tear" disclosure...needless to say, their version of "minor wear and tear" is not the same as my version of "minor wear and tear"...It had scuffs and scratches and stuff and when I emailed them it was basically...pay for the shipping both ways and we'll send you a different one...I'll take the $20 loss and just stick with my stock one.

Mike

They were the factory wheels that were either what they called black chrome or gunmetal. They are just like the ones on Bika's car. It was not that loud, and with it in traffic I did not have a chance to see the front to well.

ssblacksc, congrads on the new daughter. My wife is due at the end of next month with our second little one, this time a boy. Get ready for some nice presents in the that they leave!! Dirty diapers are the best, especially late at night.

What I found the best, is buy them in bulk. I get the diapers and wipes at BJ's at the better price than say Target or Giant Eagle. I am not sure about WalMart, as I have not been in one for over 5 years.

This, sir, is a good question. I don't think it does but this information can be found out. IIRC the 80's had their own harness and it wasn't interchangable. But its been quite a while since I've been in the cobalt world and I just don't remember for sure.

Btw I have a daughter now! She is beautiful!
There never were black pillars for an ss/sc or ss/tc unless bought aftermarket at a rediculous price and usually 2 or 3 pod setups. Your best bet is to paint what you have. Since you're a ne ohio guy and possibly not that far away, I could do this for you if you'd like. Did it to mine when I had it and it held up phenominally. As far as the headliner, you could try 2 things: 1. Wrap it, which I would recommend as it looks better and would last longer. Professionally done would be my suggestion or you might have a sagging problem in the future. Or option 2. is stain it. You can get fabric/vinyl stain from most any auto parts store but you run the risk of it being uneven and looking like crap. And last, but certainly not least, congrats on the little girl!

Really? Nobody interested in the pods at all? Guess I've been gone too long, they were all the rage back in the day lol

hahahaha thats my cobalt!! and thats my dad driving it!! he is old lol 51 years old! my brother hit an ice patch and hit a sign so his car is in the shop. my dad is letting my brother drive his truck and my dad is driving my cobalt because he is the only one who knows how to drive manual. his office is in the square above the jewelry store there so the car is there every day.

Black Napkin, ok. Well, he is older than me and I am older that most in this area with a SS. I did not mean anything by calling him old, just observed that it wasn't a younger person. That is good he is the only other one that knows how to drive it, as most people today don't know how to drive a manual. I watched a kid today try and pull out on Rt 3 with one, and he stalled it 3 times.

I have the Silver SS sedan running around town.
