We've tried it before but no one ever shows up. Its easier just to meet up at an existing meet like superfly or forced4s when theyre in season. No one wants to meet up in winter so itll be quiet till may or so

yeah my car is in the garage, would probably still drive it but my driver side rear brake is ******* up and i dont feel like fixing it just yet.

Hey I'm new to the forum name is Marc and I have a 2005 blue Cobalt ss/sc. just figured I'd post something here to see if anyone is up for a meet or something.

 

I'm also new. What kind of meets usually go on in the spring/summer? Ive never been to one.

 

Unfortunately not much. Your best bet really is to go to something like superfly, forced4s, or Gripped Ohio, though those have all kinds of cars at them. There isn't much Cobalt Specific. We used to have a statewide meet in Columbus every spring and fall, but there hasn't been much interest in it in the past few years, and no one ever wants to organize it.

 

forced 4's is pretty decent. get a little bit of everything

 

Nobody cares about Cobalts anymore. I have lost interest in the car as a modding platform as well. It's just not worth the bother trying to organize meets or events as most people have moved on.

the whole car scene has gone down hill, no matter what area or type of car you have. we do have a large gathering here in canton on sunday nights but thats it. used to be almost every night and people would cruise etc. now its all about who's car is faster and which 18yr old kids parents put money into their car
