Maybe one of these Sundays we can all meet at Superfly then go for a little cruise. Last time we went down to Superfly it sucked but if we had a mini meet down there with a bunch of us im sure it would be better.

If you guys want to get a lot of track time...This event is open to everyone. We will be there from about noon until the end of the day.

*Realtune SRT4 Shootout and 1st Annual Caliber SRT4 Nationals

When: July 13th 2012 930am-4pm eastern
Where: Dragway 42, West Salem Ohio
Cost: $77/racer [per car basis], $13/spectator [kids under 12 are free]

Most of the day will be time trials so you are welcome to not join a class if you just want to test and tune.

We will have 3 classes with 2 qualifying runs to determine the bracket.

1] Caliber class
2] Street tire class [any DOT approved tire welcome]
3] Open class [any non tube chassis Mopar powered 4 cylinder is allowed]

We are planning on trophies for class 1 and 2 and a payout for the open class only. Payout will be determined by how many cars show up. Id like to do a $1100 pay out. $600 to the winner, $300 to runner-up, and $100 each to the 1/4 finalists but we will need at least 10 guys in the open class to make that happen.

Also this track day is open to anyone that wants to come and pay the race or spectate fee. If you are a non mopar 4 cylinder you will be able to race from 10am-2pm [the last 2 hours will be for class racing]

 

I will prolly be there, not racing but helping the real tune crew.

Just got home from a day at the shop...I think it was hotter in there than outside. My truck said 106 when I grabbed lunch.

 

I feel your pain. It was 100 outside, and 114 in our shop

 

I am glad I don't work in a shop no more. It was the dumbest shop ever lol. Four big garage doors and still had no airflow.

was at good guys in columbus all day long. 107 there.. prolly atleast 120 in the pits for the auto x course where we spent our time.. i LOVE heat.. the hotter the better. i love 100 degree weather.. ima tropical people.. but i even struggled today.. hottest ive ever been
