I'm sick and haven't gotten out of bed yet, but from what I can see from my window it's really not that bad. Apparently it's bad enough that Kent canceled classes though.

 

Yeah, UofA cancelled morning and night classes early today, which is unheard of. THey usually wait until the last minute to cancel anything.

 

Yea same here. But I think the worst of it is still coming.

 

yeah i was like what? when i got the text message from the school... its ok tho, more time for studying and apparently there is a freakin sale from mkruley(spellcheck)

 

I think we got maybe 2 or 3 inches here. It seems to still be snowing though. It started back up around 1pm. I haven't looked outside since.

 

Freezing rain.

 

Just started that **** here. Its more of a sleet right now, but turning to freezing rain tonight.

I live in the Sandusky area. We are flirting with the snow/freezing rain line here. It will snow a big and then ice.

BG has already closed about 4 hours ago lol.

 

Mr Miller is near Norwalk. Has a mean little car too.

I am glad that Akron knows what a snow plow is. I was behind one this morning going to work, he decides to lower the plow near Main on 224 and then lift it near 77. It was great. Going over Manchester Road I was drifting a Cobalt without using the E Brake. This will Blizzaks and all.

Tomorrow I will have the old beast out, so if some dumb people want to try and hit me they will have to deal with the Silverado.

Its just been freezing rain here tonight. It will be fun in the morning.

 

yeah im with lifter i hope they close skewl, i could use another day. ha ive been behind a snow plow, and it doesnt really do it for me, i came up on him pretty fast, got all kinds of salt hitting me. lol but that was dumb on my part

That's what my car looked like after being outside while I worked today. It's sleeping in the warm garage now, no need to clean the ice off :P

I guess I'm lucky we got missed by the hard ice too.

 

The ice didn't stick around here either. Got about 3 inches of snow too, so not bad. 10miles away in Sandusky county they are in a level three. Us nothing, it's weird how we got missed.

 

Hmmm, I have about 2 inches of ice on the driveway, and its not level!!!!! With the blowing snow I had traction to get up with out any problems. My neighbor just tried to get hi BMW 740 up his driveway, it took 3 tries. He does have snow tires, but that only helps so much.

My dog was having fun with it in the back yard, he could run and stand on it without any problems!!

Chris, how is the build coming for your car?

 

Its going good. The motor is done at the shop, I just have to pick it up. Was going yesterday but the damn snow got in the way, will pick it up friday or saturday. The builder has done alot of things to the block and stuff, I asked him to leave it dissassembled so I can get the experience of doing that. He opened up the rod big ends a bit for better oiling, weight matched everything to less than a tenth a gram.
