Ya I had the house ready to go and then I got a call from Dominion. And Im not driving from Ytown to Akron everyday. So if I get this job Im gonna be looking to move to Akron asap!
I currently have a 20d, yes its old. It does a great job though. Once my wife starts her new job, I am thinking of buying a new camera. I am looking at the 60d or the 7d. I might wait to see if they bring a new one out this fall though.
I would stay out of these places: North Akron, Firestone Park, Stow, Cuyahoga Falls. Bath Township is nice if you can afford it, Copley, Portage Lakes/Coventry, Richfield, and Mogadore aren't bad. Stow and the Falls are nice but I can tell you right now, the cops are gonna give you trouble for your car. Unless you move to certain parts of the Falls/Stow where there isn't much police action.
Humm, never had trouble in the Falls with mine.
I live south of Medina, and my drive to the east side of Akron is about 30 minutes each way. Wadsworth is a nice area too. Seville is a nice small town, with some newer housing in it.

Wadsworth is pretty nice if you know where to look and don't mind traffic on the kenmore leg or central interchange. And I had problems with my RX8 and eclipse when I was living in the falls daily. A few of my friends with skittles and DSM's have issues regularly too.
The T1i is not that bad of a camera. What lens did you get with it? If you are looking at the T2i, you might want to look at the T3i.

The t1i comes with the 18-55mm lens, and a 58mm UV Filter I believe. This is more of a starter camera for her, since she is real big into photography and I don't want her to have to use photoshop for every picture to try and enhance it. Figured she needs something nicer and the t1i is a good place to start learning.
This is what the T1i is capable of (This was Dirty's camera)

And Ace, nice neighborhoods around here would be the Bath/Fairlawn area, but it's expensive to live in. That's where all the high rollers move. Where is your new job located? Another good area would be Doylestown. It's a little more rural, but it's a really nice area (with shitty internet though).
Just don't move to Barberton.
Lifter, I am big into photography too. I have been doing it for years, and have been in many galleries. My house looks like a gallery inside, with all of my works. I just have not done much lately due to working 60 hour weeks and a 16 month old.
The 18-55mm is not bad if you bought the IS version. Be very careful of the UV filters, as they can degrade your image. They are not all that they are cracked up to be. Do you need a Circular Polarizer? I have one for that size along with some ND filters too. They are all top of the line filters. A CP can really change your images, and bring out the richness to them.

My job is in Fairlawn, so I wanna move close to it but idk what we can afford yet. The gf hasn't decided whether shes going back for grad school or not.
I know for sure were looking for a house around 100k price range tho, and ya I cant be having cop troubles lol we dont get along too well. Cops around here know me on a first name basis so they let me slide with things lol

Fairlawn is a nice area. Copley is too, and might more in your price range than Fairlawn. Copley is literally about 10-15 minutes away from Fairlawn.
Theres a couple houses I found in Fairlawn that I like. But havent had much time to look since Im at work...
Im gonna look later after lunch. I would like to live within like 15 minutes of my job. Its on Springside Rd in Fairlawn.
But If my gf works in Cleveland then I guess were gonna have to move somewhere in the middle.

Ya but she hates traffic and to have to drive for more than like 10 minutes lol
And since Im such a nice guy I told her we could live in the middle, if she did end up working up there.

I would look into Fairlawn, Hinkley, Brecksville, and Richfield.
Bath will be expensive, unless you buy that 23,000 sq foot house that some basketball player built there.
If she could drive a bit, you could look in Norton. That is south of Fairlawn.
For her job, is it downtown, west side or east side.

She doesnt have a job yet, still debating on whether to go to pharm school or not. But chances r she will be working at a hospital of some sort, and she has good connections at the cleve clinic. So Im gonna assume shell prolly work up there.
Just keep in mind that going to Cleveland there really are only 3 ways in; 90, 480 to 77n, and 71n. No matter which way you go, traffic sucks. And wait until it starts snowing. It gets worse.
Ya I know, Im not tryin to get her to avoid the traffic, just make her be in it less
If it were up to me I would move into this foreclosed house literally walking distance from the job lol
