I installed a ported head on a TVS car and it picked up 50whp with just the head swap. Dyno sheets are on here, look up DarkmanX, it was a couple years back.

Thanks! I sent him a message.

The P/P I'd like to do eventually but it's not needed to get the car up and rolling I'm more focused on the short block now because the shop wants the block this saturday otherwise I'll be waiting till the end of the season.. I'm not too worried about having to pull the head again, because that mother f***ing 8th intake bolt will be gone!

Don't do that, it's what carries most of the weight of the manifold and the stress load from the belt drive on the supercharger. It's not that bad to put back in, just loosen the alternator and set it over out of the way, then use a 1/2" drive ratchet with a short socket to tighten the bolt.

but Joe I bought PD's intake and turbo (picture below of his setup with the exact intake) I get to say bye bye to that bolt don't I?

All of that blower none sense should be nul and void after I get that big ol hair dryer in back.

Update on build progress--
JE forged pistons 8.9:1, eagle rods, 78# supertech springs, bought BlkWdoSS's turbo, intake and a few other parts the Borg S366XL made 438whp on a weak stock internal motor.

Can't make up my mind about an exhaust system I believe I have a 2.5" stainless now very tempted to get a 2.5" electric cut out or just a nice 3"

Oh I wasn't aware of that

It's usually easier to remove a stock manifold than the aftermarket ones in my experience.

I'm Motorbreath91, can't remember the pass.
Josh PP, 75# supertec, 9:1 JE custom pistons for 2.2 eagle rods, 1200cc dual cone injectors, YYZ suspension, ZZP Girdle Block Gen 1, ended up with OTTP Stage 2 Turbo Cam's got a nice deal, the car might move come this spring, if the f35 doesn't hold I'm going to auto and bottle. I want 650whp.
