They are great cars, my ex bought one with about 65K on it years ago and she still has it going strong, it's an '06 2.4 SS automatic. They have a few little quirks as they age but in general they are very trouble-free, same as any other good platform. Makes a great daily driver.

You can just say "SS/NA" then. The NA is for non-aspirated, no need to even mention a supercharger.

Those cars have been boosted before, so just clearing up what you're looking at.

No one can say if you'll have major problems, they are great cars and run a long time. But you have to make sure the engine is healthy, ask for a leak down test (or have your mechanic perform one) and if its a GM dealer have them hook it up to a Tech2 and see if there is evidence of it being tuned.

Check the suspension out for leaky shocks/struts and the condition of the springs. CED (Crate Engine Depot) has a good deal on shocks/struts and I think they even sell some pre loaded with springs.

As far as handling in the snow, they're great with snow tires and decent with the correct all season tires.

Pics of said car? I don't think I have ever seen your car bill. OP, the ecotec platform is great. They will run forever. However it is like any other car, if you don't take care of it, maintaince etc, it will fail. Have it checked out, and if it comes back clean DEW IT. You will love them.

welcome to the forum. 2.4's have been around since the 90's and are generally great engines that hold up well over time.
