New guy around here.

Hey forum members. I've been a lurcher for about half a year and finally decided to get an account. I bought a black 08 ss/tc in mid summer of last year with 15000km on it Since then I've put just over 4k on it and have loved every minute of it. It came with a catback exhaust, CAI, and chrome American Racing Maverick wheels, but hopefully the snow will clear soon and I can start adding to that list. The forums have helped me so much over the last year. I'm proud to be a member now; hopefully I can give back in one way or another.

Ladies and Gentlemen i present my cobalt. Please hold your applause...

I dont know how I feel about the wheels right now so feel free to put in your $0.02

And how she sits right now... Beside FIVE GOD DAMN FEET OF SNOW!

So other than a set of springs and some tint what else should I strap to this car?

Not feelin the wheels. They don't look bad, they just don't look good on an SS.

Agreed...they are very nice rims...I just dont think they are for a cobalt..

Perhaps if they were a matte Silver instead of chrome...Id think they look better..IMO..Ive never been to crazy about chrome rims anyway

rims would look a lot better with a nice 2-3" drop. Get coilovers OP! after the snow melts of course...

Thanks for the welcome guys! The plan is (like hockeyman said) get it off its 4x4 stance with a set of cm springs (no coilovers yet ) and see how it looks with the chrome. If it still doesn't look great I think the stock wheels with a coat of gunmetal on them would look awesome.
