Hello! Finally got around to making an account about the SS.
Picked her up right as the coronavirus started to get more serious in Canada. I had to go all over the place to try and register the car to get it on the road! I bought this 2009 Cobalt SS TC for $4000, granted it has 190 000 Km or 120 00 miles. I figured I'd buy it now to give me some stuff to work on while in quarantine. The car has been oil sprayed and has zero rust on the frame and body. Paint is decent and so is the interior. It has a Hahn CAI, a ZZP intercooler and downpipe, it is Hp tuned, has upgraded charge pipes, and apparently makes around 300whp. It had a straight pipe on it with no cats but I custom welded a new exhaust so I can switch between the stock muffler and the straight pipe out of respect for my neighbors. The car had issues which is why it was cheaper but I fixed a lot by myself. That HVAC actuator went so I took it out and I 3D printed the gear for it. I 3D printed a chevy badge for the front because the car didn't look right without it. I 3D rinted the driver side glove box because it was busted pretty bad. So much I can 3D print on this car. There were a lot of stuff that some kids before me had done some shady work which I took out/fixed. The interior was splatter painted cheaply so I instead wrapped it in carbon fiber. Most of the issues are fixed and I finally enjoy driving around a competent car! Polished it with some 3M compound and it looks gorgeous! Can't wait to drive it around more! Pics below with some before and afters.
Shoot me ideas of stuff to 3D print, even engine components because my 3D printer can print carbon fiber and fiberglass parts.

Welcome. Nice job under the hood. Enjoy your Cobalt.
Stay safe out there. Ontario is in for a bumpy ride which bothers me because my 2 daughters also live out there.

By all accounts, he's safer where he is in Ontario. On the other hand, he's right next to Detroit which makes it less safe for the virus. Good thing they locked down the border crossings.
Thank you! Yeah Ontario will hopefully stay strong during this. Its torture because id love to go out with car friends right now but I can't. I wish everyone a safe quarantine!
